QR codes and mobile maintenance: the field without re-entry

CMMS QR codes solve a very concrete problem: in the field, mobile maintenance most often fails because of double data entry. A technician works on a pump, jots the meter reading in a notebook, snaps a photo, then re-types everything in the evening on a desktop. At each step, information is lost or distorted.
